Yes, because it is never enough of pendants. Few creations made combining bead embroidery and black brass bases, came into life and now wait for their new owners at my Etsy shop.

A few rings
Recently I have tried to use black bases and combine them with my bead embroidery.
The results were pretty interesting and not mentioning few pendants I have made few rings to my collection. Both of them have no name and are available on my Etsy shop.

New collar necklaces at my shop
And here is a tribute to my new collar bib necklaces all made completely by me including the scheme tutorial. Played with all different Czech Preciosa beads that haven't used before - Tile, Chilli and Thorn.
The results are available on my Etsy shop.

Abstract painting
You know what I love about doing the challenges? The variety of themes and possibility to create something going out of your comfort zone.
Last challenge that I've entered was in spring and yes, it was Game of Thrones, so lots of inspiration there. But this time again I have decided to enter Etsy Beadweavers Team monthly challenge - and it was "Abstract Painting".
This time it was totally out of my comfort zone, although very inspirational. I bought some artist made polymer clay cabochons (and still have plenty of them) that gave me the color idea and well.... found my soutache strands again.
It has been a while since I last did soutache jewelry, but again I suppose this theme and this fabulous cabochon that I used suggested the technique, not talking about the theme.
So this is and was my entry for ABSTRACT PAINTING.
Soutache necklace - La Prima Vera
As always you can find my work on Etsy or Amazon Handmade.

Longing for a spring
Autumn at it's worst just had started, and I already miss the sun and spring. I love the time when nature awakes and everything is covered in green again and the air is filled with scents of blooming trees.
And yes, as almost everyone - I love blooming sakura trees and their gentle appeal. This work was made for one of the team challenges - theme Japan, but did not make it there. And after a few months of waiting for photo shoot time - I would like to introduce you to -
Blooming Sakura
Sakura
Softly flowing
Soaring higher
Carried on the gentlest breeze
Pale pink shade
Smooth as silk
Slowly falling from the trees
Gently blowing
Round and round
Twirling, swirling to and fro
Just in spring
With sunlight's touch
Will cherry blossoms grow
Materials: super duo beads, Czech seed beads, Travertine beads, Czech glass beads, memory wire, metal clasp.
And as always available at my Etsy shop or at Amazon Handmade.

Technical Flower steampunked
I adore steampunk style, just love it. Although I must admit that I still do not dare to create something of that style. But maybe, just maybe my last creation already comes close to steam-punk conception.
Technical Flower necklace.
Inspired by architectural styles and nature. Something in between of both, Fist creation that actually comes from a small cooperation with another artist - Violet Creations. She has made fabulous polymer clay cabochon that I have used.

Blast like a Supernova
It has been a while. With no time to post, no time to take a photo shoot or do some decent beading or at least it was taking a slow pace.
With my girl growing each day less time for beading is left for me, but still I try to find some time for my favorite hobby.
So, new year has come (Happy new one - for those who read), all the celebrations have come to past and some new inspirations came.
First, but not last - that successfully helped me to use my bead stash and some of the pieces that were gathering dust....
Necklace - Supernova - with solar quartz cabochon druzy titanium agate, Czech glass and seed beads, (new to me) memory wire and finished with magnetic clasp for a bigger security :)

Amber Heart
Long time no seen.
It has been quite a while since I have created something new and shared it with my readers.
It seems that I have experienced the lack of inspiration and needed to take a short brake from the beads. It is not that I have not been working with them - no, I just had to little time and mostly been working on the schemes..
But after a while inspiration came :) - just some new materials and some new techniques gave me the challenge and inspired new creation.
Amber heart
Amber heart - when the days grow short and cold the Amber heart keeps always warm. It brings the small part of the sun and reminds of the summer.

A bit of Victorian style
It has been quite a while. Not that I haven't been working - but I suppose too many changes at a time and too less of time for my favorite beading.
I've been creating a few things that took me to some sort of experimentation - silk and metallic ribbon. These two went into two different creations that share the same color palette, details and, well ... name.
Victorian Rose necklace - Size of the bead embroidered resin cabochon - 7 x 5.5 cm. Length of the silk and beads cord ~ 50 cm.
Materials used - resin cabochon, Czech man made pearls, Czech glass drops, Preciosa twin beads, toho and Preciosa seed beads, silk, natural leather backing, magnetic clasp.

Indian Summer
It has been a really inspirational week for me. So much inspiration that went into new creations :)
First of these two creations - necklace Indian Summer.
Got some inspiration by the early autumn colors and jasper. And this is the result.
Materials used - Multi-color picasso jasper pendant, Multi-color Picasso Jasper Round Gem Beads, Baltic amber, Czech seed beads (preciosa), magnetic clasp.

Back again
It has really been a while since the last news and last creations.
Maybe it was a lack of inspiration or motivation, or just other things on my mind - nevertheless, finally I am back with something new.
This time the colors came as an inspiration and the theme - color palette. Once I've decided to participate this challenge I had to choose the color palette and that is where the blue comes.
The combination of dimensional bead embroidery, bead-weaving and free-form beading that finished in one creation - Deep Blue Ocean

Lavender
Remembering "Passion of red and black" a new piece - "Lavender" was born. This time I have used a calm palette of violet color and returned to free form beading.
I suppose that after some time my violet passion is coming to an end and after I finish some works that are already in process, I will leave this color and move to another one :) Blue? Green? Maybe :)
