As I have mentioned before - I have received a custom order that was rather a challenge to me and I am glad that I have managed to fulfill the clients wish and she is satisfied with the result.
The color and theme inspiration came from my recent work - necklace "Dreaming seahorses" - the client has contacted me with the question - would I be able to create a small brooch approx. 5 cm size with a shape of seahorse using the same color palette as in the necklace.
Well, the size was a challenge and problem, as the original seahorse is two times bigger than the new one, but giving a try I have created the smallest version that could be bead embroidered and here is the result (I am sorry for the photo quality, but being in hurry I was able to take photos only with a phone).

Autumn Fields
I have been doing a lots of small things lately, but most of them are not related to the beading and the ones that are related are still due to some reasons left unfinished :) and may remain for a while.
But this is something small that I've done yesterday, during the sleepless night, something that still takes inspiration from the late autumn colors - a brooch - Autumn Fields.
Materials used: Picasso Jasper, Czech rokajl and preciosa beads, leather backing and safe metal clasp.

After a weekend
It has been a while since I showed my works - been a bit lazy for a while and spend time traveling around Czech Republic and visiting some places. It's been good but now I need to return somehow to my lovely beads.
So first thing, I have received an order to make a duplicate (or more or less similar) brooch for Modesty, so that is how Modesty II was born and my collection true colors received it's idea. I do hate to make similar things, but collection looks more serious and I need to think about the clients too.
so here comes Modesty II (she has its owner already and can't wait to meet her).

Modesty
It has been a while since for the last time I did my beloved bead embroidery and dimensional beading.
So now after a 2 months soutache classes I feel that I need to go back a bit and relax :)
And when you think of it opportunity arises itself - I got a small request from a friend to create violet color embroidered brooch - "just make it modest enough" :)
So here it is - Modesty -
